Justin had his first post-op checkup this morning. He told a couple of fibs while there including… that he was doing “good” (said with an inflection), that he’s eating “a lot,” and that he’s staying hydrated. Lol! They removed the rest of his staples and scheduled him for an IV fluids infusion after the doctor told him he was… “a little crispy.” I also scored a prescription for protonics (which should have been prescribed at discharge) to help with some reflux.

then after I complained about the folks next to us…
a private room with a bed. I deliver. Justin enjoyed a three’ish hour nap and looked remarkably better after it all.
For an appointment at 9:15 this morning, we didn’t get home until after 4:00. And the wait for valet, nearly 40 minutes. Long day.
On the way home he wanted a McDonald’s Happy Meal hamburger so what Justin wants, Justin gets. He ate nearly the entire thing aside from a bit of the bun. He followed it up with a fruit cup. Woot Woot!
