The procedure is progressing

…. nurses now update via text, which is good and bad because sometimes a girl has questions.

This morning went off without a hitch. The epidural was smooth as silk, only taking about 25 minutes. A far cry from the hour struggle last time. Although I had to step outside the curtain of sterility, I heard Justin chatting away like he and the anesthesiologist were old friends.

Emotions were minimal, at least far less than previous experiences. The biggest lump in his throat came from a dear friend and golf analogy. Yes Ruben, this hole will be a bird!

And the happy drugs were exceptional! My goodbye kiss was quite passionate and he made the team wait for this selfie…
