The past couple of weeks have been familiar. As the recovery process is nothing new to our family, I feel we’ve all settled in to our steady routine, improving ever so slightly by the day.
Justin begins his day early, most typically around 5:30. He helps the kids before school, Carter really, since cranky is a huge understatement. He makes the two of them breakfast and lunch for Carter. Bergan is my mini-me, sleeping in as late as possible in order to make it out the door just in time.
I know Justin has been putting in a couple hours of work the past two weeks. Although this wears him out, I know he enjoys engaging and feeling accomplished.
He has also been helping nurse our little pooch after her surgery last Monday. I guess she was jealous of Justin having the biggest scar in the house so she put in her best effort.

She’s healing up nicely and nearly back to full energy. Stitches out 2 March 🖤
This morning the family supported Rock Canyon High School’s Wish Week #fabianswish and participated in their Walk for Wishes. Melts my heart they do this every year!

Justin did great! He even wanted pancakes afterwards 🥞
Bedtime for Justin has been a tad on the early side. It might just be because he’s sick of being homebound and watching TV, but the past two nights have been around 6:00. It’s no wonder he’s up so early!
That’s about it from the Yarbroughs. Hope everyone is doing well! And, is anyone else sick of the snow? Ugh.
Sleep tight,
Christina
Thanks for the update. Glad Justin is getting out and about a bit. We have a super cranky in our house as well. Does Justin want a second morning job???!! I agree, I’m looking forward to more light and less snow! Love to you all.
