Soooo… fun times at UC Health today. Oh yeah, we’re still here. From OR lore, Justin’s IVC filter was placed all wonky in his vein so they had a difficult time sheathing and removing it. There were other stories of looking at the clot in his leg using contrast and this and that, blah-dee-blah, blah.…

Aside from this cray thunderstorm, it’s pretty quiet at the Yarbrough domicile. Justin just woke up from sleeping off the anesthesia from his port placement procedure today. Although it felt way too soon to be back at the hospital, this was at least elective and as a nurse put it, “an investment” in his future.…
