As mentioned in the FB post, Justin will be back in surgery April 16th. As much as we’ve dreaded this day, the time has come.

Many of you have asked what this surgery will entail, so I’ll tell you what the surgeon has planned, understanding we won’t know for sure until that day comes. Here’s the rundown … the bottom part of his stomach and spleen will be removed, most if not all of his large intestine and parts of his small intestine will be removed, and his liver will be cleaned up (removal of some small tumors and trouble spots). This will be the mother of all surgeries, but we’re hopeful with the slow growth rate, this surgery could extend his life significantly.
