Here’s the deal, Yarbroughs don’t tiptoe through life. We sprint marathons.
Since my last post we’ve finally finished 13 years of home projects, listed our home for sale and went under contract, and bought a house in Las Cruces, sight unseen. Thank Heavens we like it just as much (probably more) seeing it in person and any new projects can wait a couple months or longer. (Trust me, I’m not naive to Justin already conjuring a list of projects we may not get done till weeks before we sell.)
We moved into our first home exactly on our 1-year anniversary (shout out to Michelle for still being in our lives!) and will move into our third dang near on our 20th anniversary. As much as we tried to plan a sweet vacation to celebrate, we’re moving to the desert instead.
We are beyond excited for this new adventure as many things will be new to us… such as well and pool pumps, septic, pecan harvesting, and an even drier climate than Denver! I’m anxious to have less indoor living space (due to lack of domestic ability) yet more outdoor. And most of all, I look forward to Justin golfing to his heart’s content.

Aside from all this change, I would be remiss to not mention what has been without change or fail over the past two decades, Justin’s and my love. By God we have weathered storms, but always to return home more grateful, stronger, and wiser.
God could not have made me a better partner and I praise this gift daily.
So for our 20-year anniversary, I celebrate in solemn peace knowing we have been, and continue to be, right where we should. I find absolute comfort in knowing yes, everything will work out. And most importantly, that love always wins!

Be well my friends! I honor you and all your contributions to our story!
With love and respect,
Christina
